History
RAZEK Environmental, LLC (RAZEK) was formed in April 2004 as a subsurface exploration subcontracting firm featuring Geoprobe® sampling, mobile laboratory services, and shallow environmental drilling. In April 2006, RAZEK moved operations to a 20 acre property near Louisburg, Kansas. The property has a spacious indoor shop which allows RAZEK to purchase bulk quantities of supplies so we are ready for any size project at a moments notice. RAZEK's equipment and tooling are stored in our shop building which keeps them out of the elements and makes year-round routine equipment maintenance much easier.
In 2007, RAZEK purchased a new 6620DT Track-mounted Geoprobe® unit and an enclosed box truck. This rig served our company for seven years and proved to be a workhorse on a variety of projects. In 2014, RAZEK sold the 6620DT Geoprobe® and upgraded to a 7822DT. With this machine the firm expanded its services to include deeper hollow stem augering, advanced soil sampling capabilities (Dual-Tube with 3.75 inch rods). RAZEK also set new records in collecting groundwater samples from depths in excess of 100-feet. Over the years we have always tried to be on the "Cutting Edge of Environmental Evolution." With a lot of research, investment, and perseverance, we have found a niche in the environmental industry with air rotary rock drilling to 150 feet with our Geoprobe®.
RAZEK is one of only a few firms that provide rock drilling services with a 7822DT Geoprobe®. We have combined all of the advantages of a track-mounted Geoprobe® to provide a cost-effective alternative to a big bulky drill rig.
