Equipment

Truck

In December 2008, RAZEK purchased a Freightliner box truck (pictured below) from Geoprobe Systems® to haul our track-mounted Geoprobe®, augers, dry-goods, steam cleaner, water tank, and enough supplies to complete 20 monitoring wells to 25-feet in a single mobilization. This truck is capable of hauling 34,000 pounds of supplies and equipment to get any size project done in a single mobilization. In addition to having the ability to show up for every job with 10 times the supplies we could ever use in a single day, this unit provides a covered work space for clients to get out of the weather.

Geoprobe® Unit

We currently operate a track-mounted (model 7822DT) Geoprobe® unit purchased new in 2017. This all-terrain unit is capable of direct-push sampling in excess of 140-feet below ground surface (BGS), hollow-stem augering (4.25-inch I.D.) to over 70-feet BGS, and air rotary rock drilling to 150 feet BGS.

Additional Equipment

RAZEK Mobilizes an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) to most sites to efficiently move supplies from the box truck to the boring location. The ATV has been used to assist clients with remote borings by hauling coders, sample jars, and meters. We have also used the ATV to transport tooling to and from the decantamination pit, saving time between borings.

RAZEK also has an All-Terrain Forklift capable of lifting 5500 pounds. The forklift was purchased new in 2009 and is utilized on larger projects. The forklift makes loading for jobs extremely efficient and has been used to move pallets of sand, bentonite, and concrete from the box truck to the boring location.
